Recipe for Beer Cheese Soup had two hooks for me: use of a #Fuquay brew and, when garnished appropriatetly, covers dinner from soup to nuts in one bowl.

2 medium onions diced small
2 medium carrots diced small
2 celery stalks diced small
2 garlic cloves minced
1 bay leaf
1/2 stick unsalted butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk (whole preferred)
2 cups of your favorite chicken stock or broth
12 oz. beer (stout, porter, ale - beer with a little backbone)
1 tbls Worchestershire
1 tsp dry mustard (optional)
1 tsp tabasco or other hot sauce
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
16 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
The article has the preparation steps and references Fuquay's Aviator Brewing Company Devil's Tramping Ground Tripel as an ideal beer selection. Sounds good to me.
