Mints, tombstones, and bullets: these three "meaningful visual symbols" make Battle: Los Angeles the movie District 9 should have been? (TRUTHBOMB!?)

Armond White's review of Battle: Los Angeles - he loves it.:

Turns out Battle: Los Angeles, the most ridiculous film of the year so far, is actually a perfect metaphor for the post-9/11 malaise of the fascist ennuiocracy! BOOM! MISLED BY THE PROTO-LIBERAL CHIMERAS OF WHITE GUILT YET AGAIN, SUCKA! Big Brother A-Dubz is coming to Airstrip One to learn your ignorant ass some TRUTHSPEAK! SKEET SKEET SKEET!
Armond's made it so easy, parodies the like of this and the fake Twitter feed aren't so much work as low hanging fruit gathering sessions. Still, a while back I committed to following Armond's wackiness and this send up is pretty hilarious. The comments on this one are worth skimming through as well.
