Are we raising a generation of nincompoops? And do we have only ourselves to blame? Or are some of these things simply the result of kids growing up with push-button technology in an era when mechanical devices are gradually being replaced by electronics?It might be comforting for some to blame their child's idiocy on the internet and gadgets, but if your teenager can't work a coat hanger, or ride a bus, or do their laundry it's not because of the internet, or because you vaccinated them, or the fluoride in the toothpaste. There's a much simpler explanation and you're not going to like it.
