I missed this when it was new. The Google Reader gets jammed up with thousands of items and good stuff gets lost in the shuffle. It happens. Anyways, Tom's point is well-taken: the cost (in lives as well as dollars) of the war in Afghanistan should be weighed against our (impossible?) goals. That's why we need real journalism; so, when get what Chris Wallace is selling instead, it makes it difficult for me to control my rage.
Seriously.
