Containers and Their Drivers 4: "Always On My Mind"

Such a beautiful song. This is another tune I was tricked by though.  I thought this was written, if not by, then for Elvis as a result of a mildly misleading documentary I saw as a youth. Turns out Brenda Lee was the first to record it. This is going to be hard:

• Elvis Presley
• Willie Nelson
• Pet Shop Boys

I'm not a fan of Brenda Lee's recording. It's her accent, that vaguely evil Pentecostal snake-handler brand of American Southern accent. But rules are rules and her recording would be first on the tape. After listening to each of these three again, giving the edge to the Pet Shop Boys.
