Skyline chili: a foul abomination undeserving of being called a chili at all.
Tried Skyline chili on a trip to Covington, KY on the recommendation of several natives of Ohio and Kentucky. I still haven't forgiven them. I've concluded it's a taste you can only enjoy if you were exposed to it from infancy and had your taste buds systematically abused and traumatized so that your brain never got wired to properly distinguish things that taste good from things that don't. I admit of no other possibility.

Also, we ate pasties in Connecticut. They're definitely not just a UP thing.
