DURHAM -- Peanuts and pretzels are fine, but two Durham residents wanted something a little more in a snack food that they could pair with their favorite craft beers.
So Jimmy VerVaecke and Alison Collins launched South Durham Confection Co., a business dedicated to the creation, baking and sale of savory cookies that can be paired with a range of different styles of craft beer.
I see this are available at Aviator. Have any Fuquay-Varinians tried them yet? I have to admit I'm skeptical.
